FAQs
1. How many participants per team? You may create teams of 2-6 people.
2. Is there a solo option? Yes! You may run the 12-hour solo!
3. How does the event work? The course is a 5 km trail loop on Conkle Mountain (starting and finishing by Summerland Rodeo Grounds).
4. Do we need to keep running for the full 12 hours? All runners are welcome to take breaks whenever they want.
5. What if I am only halfway through a loop when it is 7 pm? Unfortunately the loop would not count in your total. With this in mind, please plan accordingly! If you will not be able to complete a full loop before 7 pm, do not start the loop! For example, if it is your turn to run at 6:30 pm and it takes you 40-45 minutes for the 5km loop then do NOT start your turn.
6. Are there washrooms? Yes, there are washrooms at the start/finish area at the Rodeo Grounds. Runners will pass by the washrooms after each 5km loop.
7. How do we register a team? The team captain will register and PAY for the team (submitting the names and emails of each team member as well). Each team member will then receive a follow-up email from UltraSignup asking them to register their own information (including t-shirt size & initialing the waiver) but they will not be charged any fees. *The team captain will have to collect money from their teammates.
8. What are the registration fees? *Fees include t-shirt, some race nutrition (including F2C nutrition)

- Solo runners will complete as many loops as they want or are able to finish within the 12-hour time frame.
- Relay teams - teams will plan their running strategy prior to the start of the race - for example, a team may plan that each member will only run 1 loop (5km) for his/her turn before passing off to the next runner. If two team members decide to run a loop together, it ONLY counts as ONE loop. Teams will complete as many loops as they want or are able to finish within the 12-hour time frame.
